Ladies and Gentlemen,
I have solved le mysterie.

So the other day i was doing my thang thang, looking around the internet when i just happened to come across something very interesting. (Read above.)
It might be a little blurry... but basically the "ORIGINAL" Santo Gold (with the stupid space in the middle) and is an artist who did infomercials for jewelery shops in the 80s. He also promoted a movie about weddings in space with his oodles of talent. Anyway... he sued Santogold (the beautiful and talented L.E.S. artiste) for the rights to his name.
Because, get this.... it was "his biggest obstacle in Santo Gold's future in entertainment".
Okay.... we'll go with that santo.
So now she had to change her name to Santigold, which, while more like her real name, sounds really really stupid. Thanks a lot.

Also, the sequel to Donnie Darko stars CHUCK BASS. Way to think out of the box, Silver Nitrate Entertainment.
Speaking of Donnie Darko, I saw a music video the other day for What's A Girl To Do by Bat For Lashes and it was super creepy. It's like "oh... how nice, a girl on a bike." then these bizarre animal heads come out of nowhere doing wheelies in unison and she's just singing to the camera about how the love is gone.

I actually really like the band Architecture in Helsinki, quite possibly because they're the weirdest fucking thing ever. My favorite comment on their video for "Heart It Races" was
Well, you can't say that they aren't individuals. Which probably is referencing the giant plastic percussion tubes and weird masks and 12 band members.
And if you listen to Say Anything and have heard the song Admit It!!! can you please explain to me what "go analog, baby" means? Because apparently Max Bemis thinks it is something hipsters say. (You're so postmodern... you're diving face-first into an antiquated past!)

I believe I have a playlist.
This one's very short because I basically took the first songs i saw. I always like songs that get right to the point. These songs are dark and semi-apocalyptic with sharp contrasts and chords you could probably learn in 10 minutes. They're all similar because they all either start with a similar beginning drumbeat or guitar riff.

So the other day I got to skip school (yay!) to go on interviews for new schools. It's not like a job interview where you have to impress you its more like they had to impress ME. (This probably has something to do with them being public schools and accepting everyone) And one of them did... a lot.
This school is AMAZING. I can take a dark literature class, vegetarian cooking, rock climbing, and Japanese!!!! Seriously, my school sucks in comparison.
And I actually might actually do a sport because they have skiing and sailing there. Which are both not really sports as we all know.

My foot's asleep! I'm going to go read Pet Sematary and hide under my covers for the next two hours. <3
